 I've spoken about  my hesitation to wear lace, but I couldn't not put this dress in an inspiration board!  Although lace makes me nervous (seriously, who doesn't snag it?), it is so pretty to look at.  Gorgeous, vintage-inspired shoes and a classy bag complete this look.  All it needs is some gold jewelry, a waist-cinching belt, and some fun-hued sunglasses.

Isn't this pop of color gorgeous?  I love nothing more than a nearly neutral outfit with a couple shots of bright color throughout.   It's simple and chic (whoa, did I just use that word?) and it's super easy to put this together when you're frazzledly (new word) getting everyone together for church in the morning.  Which is every Sunday for us.

Weekending

Doesn't this make you feel cozy?  I can't wait for snuggly sweater weather.  Can you believe I haven't ordered a pumpkin spice latte yet?  It just hasn't been cold enough for one yet.  The weather here in NC is still up and down.  It can't decide if it wants to be summer or fall!  As soon as it turns a bit colder, I'll be ordering one tout de suite!

Weekending

A couple weeks ago, I purchased some almost-flatforms from Target, and they have been the best addition to my shoe closet in a long time!  I love the height they give me, but they don't kill my feet.  These clog flatforms would be another awesome addition to my closet (alliteration much?), and I would totally do the purse/shoe matchy-matchy thing with this outfit.  The cognac color pairs so well with dark and light grey.  This would be the perfect weekend outfit.  And, hello!  Tall shoes I can chase the kids in!

 I may be short, but I love me a good maxi skirt.  This skirt is so attractive and full of fall colors!  Normally, I would shy away from a print like this for my lower half, but I think it works on a maxi skirt.  To allow the pattern to pop, I would keep everything else neutral.  And those booties?  Seriously, I need those!
